The Academic Aviation Training Centre (AATC) was established in 2018. The main mission is to provide and support flight training for candidates to become pilots, cadets, and civilian students of the university according to requirements of the Polish Armed Forces and Civil Aviation Authority.

FLIGHT ACTIVITY
Flight Simulation Training Devices Section
The Flight Simulation Training Devices Section provides comprehensive training courses for cadets, civilian students and professional soldiers with the use of flight simulation training devices.
Life Support and Egress Systems Section
The primary goal of the section is to prepare cadets and air personnel for performing life support and egress procedures used in real life flight situations. The staff provide the academic and practical instruction concerning life support procedures which include:
- training with the use of ejection seat simulators;
- training with the use of parachute simulators;
- parachute jumps from aircraft;
- emergency egress training;
- training with the use of life support equipment;
- water landing training with the use of life support equipment;
- life support courses for flight personnel.
Flight Training Organization
The Flight Training Organization conducts theoretical and practical training according to EASA rules including:
- licences PPL(A), CPL(A), PPL(H), CPL(H);
- privilege Night VFR;
- privilege IR(A)/ PBN;
- privilege MEP(L);
- ATPL(A) – theoretical;
- privilege of aerobatics flights;
- privilege of Multi Crew Cooperation.
MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY
AMO/CAMO
There are two aviation organizations within the structure of the Centre.
- CAMO – Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization
- AMO – Approved Maintenance Organization.
CAMO is responsible for managing the aircraft fleet. It manages periods between the aircraft servicing. In order to provide safe exploitation of the aircraft fleet, the university updates the aircraft documentation on a regular basis.
AMO is responsible for technical maintenance of aircraft. It performs scheduled technical maintenance as well as it eliminates malfunctions of aircraft.
