November 11 is the day which symbolises the love for Homeland, national pride and the long awaited freedom. For decades, the indomitable will of the Polish Nation was unsuccessfully attempted to be broken. As Marshal Józef Piłsudski said: "To be defeated and not submit is a victory; to be victorious and rest on one's laurels is a defeat." The Poles never surrendered. After 123 years of partitions, in the year 1918, Poland regained its coveted independence!

New air training centres for cadets and students of the Polish Air Force Academy will be established in Nowe Miasto on the Pilica River, along with the Territorial Defence Force centres and garrisons of the 61st Battalion of Light Infantry in Grójec, Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence informed.

On May 21st, 2018 Polish Air Force Academy established formal cooperation with LOT Polish Airlines Joint Stock Company (PLL LOT S.A.) -the leading airlines in Central and Eastern Europe.

On 28 May of this year, a meeting was held with Krzysztof Liedel –  specialist in the field of  internationl terrorism and its combating - in the Air Force Academy in Dęblin. “ Terrorist Threats to Civil Aviation – trends and prognosis “ was the topic of presentation.

On May 11 2018 the Polish Air Force Academy was visited by the Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence, Mr Tomasz Zdzikot and by the Director of the Science and Military Education Department, Mrs Karolina Grenda. The purpose of the visit, was to examine the Eaglets’ School’s infrastructure, its future development prospects and its training and educational facilities.
