On May 14, a festive assembly was held on the occasion of the commencement of flight training of airborne cadets at the airport in Nowe Miasto on the Pilica. The ceremony was attended by: Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Defense Tomasz Zdzikot, staff of the Air Force Academy headed by the Rector-Commandant Brig. Gen. pil. dr Piotr Krawczyk, representatives of government, administrative and local government authorities as well as invited guests.

 I, a soldier of the Polish Army,  swear to serve the Republic of Poland faithfully ... - this is how 654 military students of the Eaglets' School, the Military Academy of Land Forces and the Naval Academy vowed the homeland. It is a joint oath of three military universities, which took place today at Westerplatte, in a historic, for the Polish nation, place. The ceremony took place with the participation of the Representative Company and the Representative Orchestra of the Polish Military Forces.

At the invitation of Rector - Commander of the School of Eaglets, Brig. Gen. Pil. Piotr Krawczyk, PhD,  the 19th  meeting of the management staff of the military representative bodies from the Visegrad Group countries was held at the Polish Air Force Academy from 3rd to 6th October this year. These annual meetings are a practical forum for co-operation and exchange of experience about the conditions of service and socio-living problems of professional soldiers. They also serve to deepen knowledge about changes taking place in the armed forces of these countries.

The Rector-Commandant of the Air Force Academy, gen. brig. pil. dr Piotr Krawczyk as well as cadet officers participated in the celebrations aimed at commemorating the 77th anniversary of the Battle of England.

During the meeting at the Air Force Academy in Dęblin, Rector-Commander Brig. Gen. Pil. Piotr Krawczyk wished cadets, civilian students, academics and friends of the School of Eaglets, a healthy and peaceful Easter full of joy and happiness.
