I decided to take part in the Erasmus+ exchange at the last minute, but it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I studied at the Technical University in Košice, Slovakia, in the field of aviation and astronautics, the third semester.

Kosice is a very beautiful city, there was always something new to see, interesting events were often organized in the center. I was assigned to a dormitory with other foreign students. I recommend getting a university dormitory in advance. Despite staying on the outskirts of the city, access to the university and the city center by public transport was simple and comfortable. While studying my field of study, I had to choose subjects from two departments that work almost independently, which was a slight difficulty. However, after overcoming some obstacles and misunderstandings, I was able to study in both faculties and complete all my subjects. The best part of the trip, however, was learning about new cultures and languages. It would be difficult for me to count, but I assume that I have familiarized myself with the cultures and customs of over ten different nationalities. We used to make big lunches where everyone cooked their national dishes. I would like to thank the ESN team - Erasmus Student Network - for organizing the best cultural events and trips, and for helping to integrate all students. They put a lot of work into making sure that something always happened and every week we took part in joint games and workshops.
